Today Indian Bank, one of the participating Banks in the IBPS CWE for Clerks had announced its Recruitment Notification for 1201 Clerk vacancies.As mentioned earlier that Indian Bank Clerk Recruitment 2012 is open only for IBPS Passed candidates.To apply for Indian Bank Clerk Recruitment 2012, candidates are required to got through the Complete Notifications and Detailed Advt.

There has been a clear mention is the Advt that Candiadtes can apply for Indian Bank Clerk Recruitment 2012 is their respective States / UT's.Since the IBPS clerk Recruitment is State/UT wise so candidates can apply for Clerk vacancies in the State/UT where they have appeared for the IBPS Common Written Examination.

Who can apply for Indian Bank Clerk Recruitment 2012 ?

Interested Candiadtes and those who have appeared in the IBPS Clerk Common Written Exam (CWE) 2012 in Nov-Dec 2011 are required to full fill the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

Age Limit : Min: 18 years and Max: 28 years

Minimum Educational Qualifications: A pass with 50 % marks in the HSC (12th Class) from a recognized Board of India

Although these vacancies are distributed among different states and UT.The major share of Indian Bank clerk Vacancies is enjoyed by the Andhra Pradesh ( 285), Tamil Nadu (357), UP (95), ODISHA (75). Since the Bank of India had mostly its presence is south India, so these states are offered more vacancies

Selection Procedure of Clerks in Indian Bank

The Selection Procedure for the Recruitment of Clerks in Indian Bank shall consists of Interview and marks obtained by Candiadtes in the IBPS Clerk exam.

Depending upon the number of vacancies, the Bank will call the candidates in the ratio of 1:5 (for Gen Candiadtes) and 1:7 (For Reserved Candiadtes).The Final Selection will be done by Calculating the marks Obtained in the Interview and the Total Weighted Standard Score of IBPS.

How to apply for Indian Bank Clerk Recruitment 2012 ?

Application Fees: An application fee of Rs 20 ( For SC/ ST/ PWD/Ex-servicemen) and Rs 100 ( For Others) will have to be deposited through a Challan form that can be downloaded from the Indian Bank's Website

Online Application: Candiadtes are required to Submit the Online Application at the Indian Bank Website before Last Date i.e 13th July, 2012
